Last updated: May 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SnapRockz ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information. If you create a Gallery Owner account, we collect your email address and authentication details.
  • Gallery content. Photos, videos, captions, comments, hearts, and uploader display names you or your guests submit to a gallery.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Paddle. We receive a confirmation and order ID but do not store your full card details.
  • Usage and device data. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process payments and send order confirmations.
  • To communicate with you about your gallery, security, or service updates.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, storage, payments, analytics, email), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Within your gallery. Photos, comments, and display names you submit to a gallery are visible to anyone with the gallery link.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

Active galleries and their photos are retained for as long as the gallery remains active. Inactive accounts and galleries may be archived or deleted after an extended period of inactivity. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and redundant storage. No service is 100% secure; you should keep a personal backup copy of important photos.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where required by law.
